Biography

J. Scott Portingale is an excellent example of how self-initiative and creativity can sometimes belie the need for formal artistic training. Scott fills his frame with a photojournalistic approach, which has him constantly seeking out stories around the world, and in his own backyard in Edmonton, Alberta. His love of story telling extends into the world of filmmaking where his award winning films portray a blend of traditional stop-motion animation with live-action.
